Alex is a tech & e-commerce professional able to bridge the gap between commercial and product, with significant experience building product domains and taking them to market. Alex has been fortunate enough to have extensive experience in tech across both the developed and emerging markets in Asia with Alibaba Group, to now building out TikTok's commerce ambitions in the U.K and U.S. Educated with an MBA from IE Business School in Spain, where he also holds an advisory board position for their recently launched Tech MBA, he has a passion for teaching and coaching others. Alex has a keen interest to give back to the Startup community in Brisbane and Australia, whether that be through mentorship, investment, or advisory roles with various firms such as Blackbird, AfterWork and River City Labs.
