River Rival brings to you emerging Tech QLD companies present to a panel of experts and the audience presenting to win being the best of the best in product and business!
River City Labs are offering emerging Queensland Technology companies with a product in market a chance to be the best of the best and showcase their Product and Business at the Finale event of Something Tech, River Rival 2023.
River Rival will be held from 6pm on the 1st of September 2023 at Rivershed, Howard Smith Wharves.

THE RULES TO BE SELECTED:
- 8-10 Founders will be selected to present on stage to a live audience across Industry and the broader Technology ecosystem.
- Coaching leading up to the event is a pre-requisite to present and provided by River City Labs Mentor in Resident, Peter Laurie and star Coach Juanita Wheeler from Full & Frank and TedX BNE.
- You must have a product in market with some traction (Customers, Users and/or Revenue).
- Each Founder will have 5 minutes to present their product and to demonstrate the problem the technology is intended to solve and the business success they have had so far
- There will be a judging panel of experts to ask questions.
- The panel will assess all presentations on the criteria of innovation, market potential, market traction, long-term potential, and presentation quality.
- The audience will also can weigh in and vote for the favourite of the night.
- This event prohibits the presentation of any request for funding, capital, OR investment.
- River City Labs require all presentations to be submitted in advance.
